Simple from start to finish

How it works

i.

Get a quote

Tell us your postcode, the size of your home and how often you'd like a clean through the form here, and a real person will come back to you the same day.

ii.

We visit your home

We walk round with you, agree exactly what's covered and how long each visit needs, and sign simple terms there and then. This is also when your payments are set up.

iii.

Meet your cleaner

We introduce a reliable local cleaner whose own availability fits your day and time. Meet them before the first clean if you'd like, or go straight to the first clean and meet them then - whichever you prefer. If they're not the right fit, say so and we'll offer someone else.

iv.

Relax, it's handled

Your cleaner arrives at an agreed time, never a vague window, and you pay them directly by bank transfer on the day that suits you both. We check in after the first clean and again after the second, and we're always there for you if there are problems to resolve.

Good to know

Questions, answered

How much does it cost?

£25 an hour, all in. That splits two ways, and we think you should be able to see both halves:

  • £20 an hour goes straight to your cleaner, paid by you into their own account.
  • £5 an hour is our agency service fee, paid to us.

The same rate applies to weekly and fortnightly cleans. There's no joining fee, no contract and no charge for the home visit. A 3-hour fortnightly clean works out at £75 a visit: £60 to your cleaner and £15 to us. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

How does payment work?

Two separate payments, out of the same £25 an hour. You pay your cleaner their £20 an hour directly, by bank transfer into their own account, and we'll set that up with you at the home visit. You pay us the £5 an hour service fee separately, for the vetting, cover and scheduling, and for putting things right if a clean misses the mark. The cleaning money never passes through us. And our fee is only ever charged for cleans that happened, so if your cleans pause, the fee pauses with them.

Are your cleaners vetted and insured?

Yes. References, ID and a basic DBS check on file for every cleaner, plus a paid trial clean before they reach your home.

We are an introduction agency, so we do not insure the cleaning itself. Every cleaner we introduce is self-employed and holds their own public liability policy of £1m or more, and we check it before they start and again each year. If something is accidentally damaged, their policy responds and we pay their excess, so neither you nor your cleaner is left out of pocket over it. We also carry our own professional indemnity and public liability cover for the work we do: the vetting, the introduction, and our own visits to your home.

What if I'm not happy with a clean?

The way we like our own home cleaned is a personal thing, and no two people mean quite the same by it. Every cleaner we introduce meets a good standard, and even so a cleaner's way of working and your preferences can sit slightly apart. That's nobody's fault.

So tell us within 48 hours and we'll put it right, and that clean's service fee is on us. Most of the time it's a short conversation and a note on your file, and it settles.

If it's still not working after that, we'll introduce you to a cleaner whose way of working suits yours better. There's no charge and no awkwardness for you, because having that conversation is part of what you pay us for.

Will I get the same cleaner each time?

Yes, that's one of our most important priorities for you. Your cleaner learns your home and your preferences, and we keep a record of how you like things done so nothing is lost if anything changes.

If they're ever ill or away, we'll offer to arrange cover for you and brief the cover cleaner from those notes, so you're not starting from scratch. Because you pay whoever cleans your home, we'll send you the cover cleaner's payment details for that visit, as a one-tap link. It takes a few seconds and only happens on cover days.

What if you can't find me a cleaner?

Then you get your money back, automatically. If we haven't introduced you to a cleaner you're happy with within 14 days of your first month's fee, that fee is refunded in full. You don't need to chase us for it.

Is there a minimum visit?

Two hours for a weekly clean, and three hours if you go fortnightly. A fortnight's worth of dust genuinely needs the extra time, and a short fortnightly visit leaves everyone disappointed.

Do I need to provide products?

Yes. You provide the cleaning products and equipment, and your cleaner uses what you've chosen for your home. Most clients prefer it that way: no mystery sprays, nothing that upsets an allergy, and no cross-contamination between homes.

Can I pause or cancel?

Of course. There's no long contract. Let us know in good time and we'll adjust, pause or cancel your schedule.
