Who we are

This website is run by Handpicked Home Services Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17380383. Our registered office is 33 Boston Road South, Holbeach, Spalding, PE12 7LR, which is where our company post goes. We work from Winchester and serve Winchester and the villages around it.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Handpicked Home Services Ltd, and "you" means anyone using this website. You can reach us at hello@handpickedhs.co.uk.

What these terms are for

By using this website you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.

Using this site doesn't sign you up to anything

This website is here to explain what we do. Nothing on it is an offer you can accept, and sending us an enquiry doesn't create a contract or oblige either of us to anything.

If you go on to become a client, we'll agree separate terms with you in writing first, and we'll ask you to accept those before your first clean. Those terms, not this page, govern the service.

What we try to get right, and where we can't promise

We take real care to keep the information here accurate and up to date, including our prices and what our vetting involves. Some things genuinely depend on your circumstances:

• Prices shown are our standard rates. What a particular home costs depends on hours and frequency, and we'll confirm it with you before anything starts.
• Availability depends on whether we have the right cleaner near you at the time.
• Anything you read here about a clean, a cleaner or a visit describes how we normally work, and we'll confirm the specifics with you directly.

We can't promise the site will always be available or completely free of faults, so it's provided "as is". We'll do as much as we reasonably can to keep it working.

What we ask of you

Please don't:

• use the site in a way that breaks the law, or for anything fraudulent;
• try to break into it, overload it, or interfere with how it works for other people;
• copy substantial parts of it, or use our name, logo, photographs or written content for your own purposes without asking us first; or
• scrape or harvest content from it for commercial resale.

Everything on this site, including the text, photographs and design, belongs to us or to the people who licensed it to us. You're welcome to read it, print a copy for yourself, and share a link to it.

Links to other sites

Where we link somewhere else, it's because we thought it was useful. We don't control those sites and we're not responsible for what's on them.

What we're responsible for

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, if we break these terms we are responsible for loss that you suffer as a foreseeable result of our breaking them, and we are not responsible for any loss that was not foreseeable. Loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach, or if it was contemplated by both of us when you started using the site.

We are not responsible for any business loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, or business interruption, because this site is provided for personal and household use.

Changes

We may update this website and these terms, for example when what we offer changes or the law does. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.

If something's gone wrong, please email hello@handpickedhs.co.uk and tell us. We'd far rather hear about it and fix it.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If there's a dispute, the courts of England and Wales will deal with it, and if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
